See The Difference
Many of the women, children, and men that we serve have landed upon difficult times and really benefit from a helping hand. While there are resources available to try to help alleviate those hardships, those resources are often overstretched and have large service gaps. We help bridge those gaps.
These individuals and families also often confront stigmas and preconceived biases. However, they ARE part of our COMMUNITY and are our NEIGHBORS.
Food and Resources for Our Four-Legged Friends
Many of the individuals we serve adopt dogs and cats as part of their families. Through partnerships, networks, and drives, we have collected dog/cat food and supplies, helped find shelter/housing that accepts pets, and helped secure medical treatment.
Holiday Packets and Gifts
In December of 2022, we provided more than 400 food packets to families and toys, gifts, and books to nearly 500 children. We also distributed 650 backpacks and 300 sleeping bags filled with essentials and food.
Welcome Baskets
In 2023, we provided more than 1,000 baskets to individuals/families moving into transitional housing filled with toiletries, towels, cleaning supplies, and other household essentials.
